Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her income. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied about her performances as compared to the performance of her classmates. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. However, she left before her band was requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. She was the singer in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. In this band, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form their own group, the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox began work for Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. This album became a huge success, both in terms of the sales as well as critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. The latter part of the 70s was when she achieved minor fame as part the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox began her solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 contains cover versions of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own as well as a compilation album, are at her disposal.
